Victoria has a secret
Victoria’s Secret has been forced to pay 8.3 million dollars in stolen wages to Thai workers. Turns out Victoria’s secret is that she steals. How should you feel about this news? Should you freak out that Victoria’s Secret still exists? Or should you not freak out, physically go shopping at a Victoria’s secret, and then leave without paying. Don’t freak out, go to Victoria secret and give yourself a five finger discount. Stealing from corporations is not theft, it’s activism.
Sheryl is leaning in
Sheryl Sandberg is being investigated by Meta for using company resources to plan her own wedding. I guess she was really leaning into having a good wedding. But the plot thickens, this investigation into Sheryl’s wedding was spurred by an investigation that found that she pressured the Daily Mail to stop covering a story about a temporary restraining order being brought up against her ex. I know, who knew leaning in meant standing by your toxic man? How should you feel about this news? Should you freak out because you just found out that leaning in is white feminist nonsense? Or should you not freak out because you too aspire to be a girl boss who manipulates the press? Yes freak out, the Karens have taken over feminism and we have to get it back. That was a direct quote from bell hooks. I mean kind of. She supports the sentiment but she wouldn’t say it like that.
We don’t need to know Nancy Pelosi’s husband’s name
Nancy Pelosi’s husband was charged with a DUI because he was driving drunk in his porsche. Of course he drives a porsche, Nancy got it for him from all the money she makes from her insider trading. Being a congressperson is her side gig. How do you think she made all that money? It’s not from helping the kids. Anyways, how should you feel about this news? Should you freak out because you didn’t know that Nancy is pro insider trading or should you not freak out because it’s kind of nice to know that something terrible has happened to a rich person? Yeah don’t freak out, let’s take these wins whenever we can because we haven’t had a lot lately.
