News that made me theorize why Clarence Thomas’ hair is white

Roe v. Wade fell on Friday and no one was surprised because we knew it was coming. Part of me feels like they leaked that opinion to know exactly how upset we would be when they said the government owns your body now and when we didn’t burn things to the ground they were like, okay we can clear this level of fascism. Yes, the supreme court is treating our rights like different levels of Tetris. Part of me also secretly believes that Clarence Thomas’ hair is white because his body has been completely overrun by white supremacy. So, feel free take or leave my comment on the leak. What I want you to absolutely take is the fact that fascism is here, abortion is just the beginning, and they will not stop here. Clarence Thomas has made it very clear that the next step is to correct us of “the error” of contraceptives and same-sex marriage.  Clarence Thomas is an error that I would like to correct.

They will not stop with same-sex marriage and contraceptives. Our right to our bodily autonomy is fundamental to our existence and any entity that takes that away is capable of anything. So, we have to stop them. How? By voting. No, I’m just kidding. If your response to me saying just vote was fuck you, then you are on the right train of thought. In order to fight fascism, we have to stop being passive citizens waiting for someone to save us, we have to save ourselves. Life is not a fairytale and you wouldn’t want it to be because princes are gross, just ask prince Andrew. We have to take care of the people who are most vulnerable, this includes paying for what they need if we can (abortions, bail, et cetera). We also have to abolish everything that the state uses to oppress us. I’m not just talking about the supreme court. I’m talking about the police, prisons, the state itself, and fruit gushers. Okay the last one is just for me; those things are ruining my life. Lucy Parsons said, “…unjust institutions which work so much misery and suffering to the masses have their root in governments, and owe their whole existence to the power derived from government.”

News that made me tell everyone who doubted me I told you so

Just in case you were thinking, Marcela you are so wrong, the democrats will definitely save us from fascism, I’d like to let you know the democratic majority in the California senate just voted to keep slavery legal. No, I’m not being dramatic, slavery is still legal, read the 13th amendment again.  Also, they can’t blame Joe Manchin for this, they have nothing to blame but their racist money obsessed souls. Democrats have a super majority in California’s senate. However, Gavin Newsom, the democrat governor of California, said, paying prisoners, aka enslaved people, $15 an hour would cost the state too much money. So the senate was like, yeah we shouldn’t pay people for their labor. Looks like the members of the supreme court aren’t the only people channeling their inner founding fathers. Yuck, I hate referring to those enslaving jerks with no style as fathers. I suggest a name change to genomaniacs, you know like Animaniacs but we use geno (short for genocide) instead of ani because both Animaniacs and genomaniacs are racist. Sorry if I lost you there. Anyway, democrats are willing to do anything for money and to win elections and that’s why we can’t trust them to save us from fascism. That’s like asking me to pick broccoli over fruit gushers. It will never happen. I know I’m wrong for it but I don’t care because I only care about immediate gratification.

News about my feelings

In personal news, I’d like to acknowledge that like most of you I’m not doing well and it’s okay if you aren’t doing well either. To be honest it’s never really been okay for everyone so if you are just now feeling the burn, understand that you have a lot of privilege. I’ve found that it’s harder for me to write jokes because it’s been harder for me to cheer myself up with jokes which means I’m really not okay. My advice to you, if you are not doing okay, is to find a community that will help you be okay if you don’t have one already. Hanging around liberals who are a lot of my friends has become just a little harder lately so I take solace in radical spaces. I made a lot of new friends in these spaces and they’ve taught me so much about myself and given me a lot more faith in humanity. For the first time in my life, I’ve felt safe expressing my opinions without fear. Now is the time to find your people because we can only fight when we feel safe and loved.
