Hiii, I’m trying a new system where I share my feelings about one news story three times a week instead of sending it all at once. Today I’ll be sharing my feelings about Joe Biden building a wall. Onto the news…
News that made me ask why Joe Biden isn’t a Republican
Joe Biden, a man who breaks campaign promises like my husband breaks drinking glasses, has broken yet another campaign promise. This time Joe Biden is breaking the promise to not build a wall on the so-called United States-Mexican border.
Remember that was supposedly the main difference between Trump and Joe. One of them wanted a wall and the other one didn’t. Well turns out they both did, but only one of them was screaming BUILD A WALL with his fanatics. I know it’s really cringey knowing you live in a world where Trump told the truth about something that Joe lied about. However, this is dystopia so everything is possible.
The border will not just be terrible for people migrating, which by the way is a perfectly human thing. People have migrated for as long as people have existed, but now the fascists are trying to make it seem like a terrible thing. What’s next, making the right to live somewhere and have food sound like terrible things? Oh wait they’ve already done that.
The wall will also be terrible for Indigenous people and the environment. In fact, building this wall is so dangerous that Joe Biden had to waive “26 environmental and cultural protections” including the National Environmental Policy Act, the Endangered Species Act, the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, and the American Indian Religious Freedom Act.
Which begs the question: What’s the point of having environmental and cultural protections if they can just be waived? Doesn’t that mean those protections actually don’t exist? But that’s a story for another time when I have 500 pages to write about why no one has any rights in a fascist settler state.
Joe Biden is willing to continue genocide against Indigenous people and threaten endangered animals just so he can stop people from migrating. Looks like republicans don’t even have to have to vote for Trump to get the things that Trump offers. Does the republican party need another candidate because I think Joe might give Trump a run for his money. Just kidding, Joe Biden doesn’t need to run in the republican party to be a fascist because the democrats and republicans are just one party pretending to be mortal enemies.
Joe Biden is claiming he didn’t want to build the wall, congress made him do it! Congress didn’t make Joe build the wall. Sure they allocated the money to build the wall, but Joe is making it so much easier for them by waiving protections that would delay the wall.
That’s like telling your mom you didn’t mean to throw a party when she was out of town when she comes home early and finds your bestie doing a keg stand in the kitchen. You’d say, they made me do it, they gave me money for the keg! Sure I told them you’d be out of town and left the door open, but it totally isn’t my fault.

There’s currently a genocide happening in Palestine. It’s been really hard listening to Joe Biden pledge his unwavering support for the genocide being committed by the Israeli government. Like the shorter version too. Yes, The Democrats are Republicans, absolutely. In some ways they're worse, like on Ukraine. I'll never again vote for any national candidate in either of those parties. They're all enemies of the people.
